13 Tidbits of Wisdom from Tony Robbins
Posted by: | Comments
Ever say I don’t need Motivation…that’s good because Tony Robbins will tell you he’s not the motivation guy that people say he is. He is the “Why Guy”. He has a focus in the world of neuro linguistic programming. He has created books and programs you may have heard of or own- Unleash the Power Within, Unlimited Power, Personal Power 2, Date with Destiny and so much more.
Today I’m sharing 13 tidbits of wisdom direct from the great Anthony Robbins and it’s your decision to become your very own “Why Guy or Why Gal”.
13 Tidbits-
1- The way to win is with immersion
2- Focus on what is driving you today (not 10 years ago)
3- The science of achievement is when you make the invisible visible in your life there is a formula and once you’ve got it nailed you can do it over and over again
4- The art of fulfillment is met when you expereince appreciation and contribution…this is not as simple as the science of achievement
5- When people come up with all the common excuses for lack of results (time, money, knowledge, technology challenges etc.) it’s not about the lack of resources it’s all about their lack of resourcefulness
6- Decisions shape your destiny…What are you focusing on right now?
7- With the right emotion you can breakthrough
8- There are 6,000 emotions and most people use less than 12 and over half of the ones used are making people feel like crap day in and day out
9- Become aware of your “State”
10- Get a handle on your “Filters” your “Model of the World”
12- Know what drives you there are 6 Human needs they are Certainty, Uncertainty, Significance, Connection & Love. Every human finds a way to meet these first four even if it is thru destructive means. The final two are needs of the spirit that you must have in order to live a life with fulfillment. They are contribution and growth…being able to contribute beyond yourself you have to experience it not just talk about. This is not corny or stupid it’s where your growth takes you into what I like to call the area of being a ‘Go Getter and Go Giver” something that is required from more people on this planet.
13- It’s about Emotional Fitness and Physcological Strength
Tony Robbins is amazing and I love his work and passion. He is obsessed with what he calls being able to get “Right Now Results”. Each person on the planet has the ability to get the results they desire right now if they decide to focus on it. Make a note that knowing and not doing means ZERO result. Making decisions and taking action is the path to results. Enjoy his work and decide to Unleash The Power Within yourself now.
Get out there today and ask yourself…If today where my last day…What would I do “focus” on right this second.

7 Steps To Leadership in Your Home Based Business
Posted by: | Comments
Whether you’re a newbie just starting out in your home based business or you’re a struggling marketer due to lack of posture, this 7 step plan will begin the process of positioning you as the leader people are seeking.
What ever place you find yourself and your business in as you read this you’ll soon see that you can get all 7 of these steps implemented in your business within the next 30 days.
1. Start a personal development routine. Be committed every day to consume books, CD’s, tapes, and make sure to include leadership topics. One of my favorites authors on Leadership is John Maxwell. Spend at least 30 minutes in the early am or pm before you drift all will do. It’s important that you make it a daily habit.
2. Create and publish content via videos, articles, blogs, emails etc. on what you’re learning and implementing. People will be automatically attracted to you because you can teach them something they are seeking to learn.
3. Know the common objections that prospects will have about joining your business opportunity so that you are quick on your feet. One of the biggest fears of marketers is to talk to people about their business. They’re terrified that that they won’t know what to say and how to handle objections. They fear rejection. If you know the common objections and the answers you have no fear and really no rejection it’s simple stuff.
4. Study from some of the best business trainers in the market like Jeffrey Combs he is a master asker and a master at closing sales, Learning what Jeffrey teaches will give you posture so you can effectively and easily handle objections. You will learn about different personality types, procrastination and all kinds of valuable topics. Developing your posture in your phone conversations which will demonstrate your leadership abilities.
5. Know how to help a new business partner enroll into your business. Have a step by step plan for them by creating a welcome email that gives them a process to get started fast in their business. Provide a training platform for them to learn internet marketing. This training platform should be step by step video training. Most people are visual learners and want to be shown how to do things. Meet with your new business partners weekly to answer their questions, keep them focused and on track with their next steps in the marketing process and to encourage them.
6. In your ad copy, talk about your training platform, your one on one coaching, your webinars and reassure them that you are committed to their success. In your marketing materials share business building tips and know-how. Offer resources and why they may want to use them. Give away your best stuff this is what leaders do.
7. Take on the role of a Teacher, Mentor and Coach in your business and new team members will follow your lead. Be active in your business, implementing your marketing, leading by example. Again, this is what internet marketing, home based business leaders do.

Profitable Home Business 6-Step Blueprint
Posted by: | Comments
In order to set your foundation for a profitable home business, it will require six steps or pieces of a puzzle to be set-up and going to attract success. Let’s take a look at those now.
1- Positioning- All top home business owners use the law of attraction in their marketing. I first learned of this skill from an incredible leader in the home business industry, Mike Dillard. If you haven’t seen his work, look at his Attraction Marketing Book offer.
2- Team Building Skills- Focus on what you do well and then surround yourself with a team that has opposite strengths of yours. This will allow you to accelarate your learning curve. You will also have more opportunities to get advice and assistance in your weak areas when you work within a strong diverse team.
3- Multiple Steams of Income- this term can sometimes seem so cliche, but it’s one powerful term. You will want to build a funnel that has all of the key products and services inside so you can serve them up to your clients in a strategic way that will put your profits on auto-pilot.
4- Conversion- This is a term that brings a big punch to your bottom line as well. If your pages on the Internet convert, you don’t have to know marketing.
5- Understand the 2-Types of Traffic- Free and Paid - and have systems for both in place.
6- Have a mentor- All top earners in the home based business arena have mentors. In fact, all top performers and earners from all walks of life have mentors.
If you’re seeking a way to start a profitable home business or have a home business that requires some new strategies for profit generation, then apply for a complimentary business assessment with me so we can get your blueprint tuned up.

How to Thrive in the New Economy!
Posted by: | Comments
I met with a trusted advisor recently and we discussed our business plans and looked at our current clients and future clients. We both work with and teach small business owners and entreprenuers how to succeed doing what they love to do most in life. As our discussion unfolded, we both realized that among our clients and partners some were struggling while others were having higher levels or growth and success than ever before. This leads me to the main topic of this article…What is the difference between those who struggle and those who thrive in this new economy?
We noted that our current economy has elements to it that are healthly. Why? It forces each entreprenuer to take stock and eliminate any activities that are non-value producing. Cleans the slate so to speak so the daily habits are focused on value and results.
We saw that the strugglers are the ones who keep their eye on the bad news and get weighed down by it. They spend countless hours in front of the TV looking at the stock market and variuos other time and energy sucking activities each day. Feelings of fear begin to mount and that is projected outward and attracts the other fearful folks in the world to them.
Here are some of the things you might hear or say if you’re a struggler…”There’s no money available right now for credit!”, ” Nobody is buying high ticket items such as real estate!”, ” The housing market is going to take forever to recover!”, ” This BP oil crisis is out of control and it makes me sick!”…. The list goes on and on day in and day out and the business owner starts to say…”My business is not producing.” , “My customers are not buying!”, etc. It’s the vicious cycle that you want to avoid at all costs.
The positive crowd takes all of this negative news and filters key value points out of it. They are able to link what they can do to better serve their clients with all of this chaos floating around. What can they do to bring value into the market? The positive entreprenures create ways to capitalize on the market and have fun doing it. To increase your bottomline, it is critical that you create more value for your customers than you are asking from them in return. This brings your personal value price tag up above the overall direction of the economy.
How can you begin to see where your value can be inserted to create this? Ask more questions of your customers and potential customers, look around at what is keeping them awake at night and then deliver something of value that let’s them sleep like a baby!
Most important…Do what you love to do most, have fun, and teach others who are on the same path how to win! If you’re curious or have questions about how you can thrive instead of just survive in this new economy, feel free to drop me a line…I’d love to connect with you.

A Home Based Business That Mirrors Your Lifestyle.

When looking at your options you will no doubt have a crazy range of feelings and thoughts going on. One minute you feel excited and energized, and the next you may have doubts and fears rushing in. There are so many tools out on the market that can assist you in identifying the type of career fields you should consider. If you’re like me, you may not want a traditional “career path”. Your dreams and visions are bigger and bolder and you want to run your own business from the comfort of your home. To keep it simple, let’s look at five key questions you can answer to assist you on your journey of the type of business that might be right for you.
1- What is your passion?
This is the first thing that comes to you if money were no object and you could do anything you wanted each day. What would you do? You may have answered “be a photographer”, “bring my product ideas to market”, “travel to the best beaches” or any number of things. Whatever your answer, it’s most likely your passion. I challenge you to take the time to ponder this and see if there is a way to bring your dreams into reality.
2- What kind of things did you enjoy as a kid?
Many times the toys or games you loved as a child will give you a view into who you are now. If you loved playing outdoors, then being outside makes you feel like a kid again. Think of how things that made you happy in your childhood, no matter how simplistic they seem to you now, may be able to take you into your new adventure as an entrepreneur.
3- What kinds of products do you promote already that you’re not even getting paid to promote?
This would be some of your favorite things you’re promoting on a regular basis already. Chances are there is a direct sales or maketing company that will allow you to sell similar or perhaps even the same exact product you’re constantly raving about and get paid to do it. When you’re passionate about promoting and you get excited talking about the product, your sincerity shows and that’s what people love to buy.
4- What skills and experience do you bring to the party?
If you’ve left the corporate world like I have or are dreaming of escaping it, you’ve brought with you a built-in set of skills that deliver value others are searching for. There may be a way for you to market those skills and turn them into a profitable business. I believe that inside of you is all you require to launch your own highly successful home based business.
5- Are you looking at a menu of options or just what’s in front of you?
Most of us are hardwired to have a fear of the unknown. Many times it’s an automatic feeling that if we haven’t done something before it is out of our reach. This can carry over into our business decisions, causing some business owners to see what others are doing to market products and services and using the same methods we see. Step outside of your comfort zone and start to look at the full menu of options. I challenge you to seek new and innovative ways to go to market. Ones that resonate with who you are at your core.
Your home based buisness should be unique to you and it should make you want to wake up each day excited about all of the possibilities that lie ahead of you. Give these questions some time to sink in and resonate within your soul and I know you’ll find the answers you’re seeking.
